Come and photograph two Steamposh CosPlay Characters

The amazing Jon and Jenn will be dressing up in full ensembles, possibilities include: Steampunk, Fantasy, Goth, etc.

We will have two awesome live models and lighting/background setups. Studio photo session 2-4:30pm. If you want to attend BOTH the am and pm sessions for $399 let us know and we send you a link for a reduced price for the second session.

All skill levels welcome. You do not need to know what settings to enter, we will tell you that, you just have to be able to change the shutter speed or aperture and set the ISO and white balance.

You will work with Tom and me as we show you how to interact with, and pose, the models so you can capture better photographs of the models. Tom and I will provide tips for photographing people. You will be in one of two groups. One group will work with Tom and one model and then you will switch and work with me and the second model. We will take turns photographing the model.

• Any camera model is welcome (any mirrorless camera, dSLR camera, medium format camera, Film camera, cell phone, etc.)

• Any skill level welcome

• We will have fun

• Location is Hamden CT ~60 miles from the Tappan Zee/Mario Cuomo bridge or the GW Bridge

• Transportation, Lodging, and meals are not included.

• Models

• Use of studio lighting and backgrounds for professional looking portraits

• basic camera advice/settings

COVID/Respiratory Illnesses

• This is an indoor event.

• Tom and I are both fully vaccinated & boosted.

• Anyone who is sick with respiratory symptoms, COVID-like or respiratory symptoms, a fever, or a positive COVID test must not attend.

• Anyone who has a fever over 100 degrees must not attend. Please check your temperature BEFORE you leave home.

  • 24-105, 24-70, 75-300, 70-200, etc.

  • 12-100, 12-40, 75, 45, 40-150, etc. (Olympus M4/3)

• Lots of memory cards

• Camera batteries
