Macro and Close-Up Photography Workshop

Overview: Dive into the fascinating world of macro and close-up photography with our dedicated workshop, perfect for photographers at any level. This hands-on experience is designed to help beginners grasp the basics while providing advanced tips for seasoned photographers to refine their skills.

Small Group Size: Our workshop is limited to just 8-10 participants, ensuring a personalized and focused learning environment. With two instructors present, you'll benefit from a low participant-to-instructor ratio, allowing for individualized guidance and support.

Expert Guidance: Receive invaluable insights and advice from two OM System Ambassadors. These experts bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the workshop, ready to help you enhance your macro photography skills and inspire your creativity.

Hands-On Learning: Experience practical, hands-on learning throughout the workshop. You'll have plenty of opportunities to practice new techniques, experiment with your camera settings, and receive immediate feedback from the instructors, all aimed at improving your photography.

All Skill Levels Welcome:

• Beginners: Learn the essentials of macro photography, including equipment choice, focusing techniques, and composition.

• Experienced Photographers: Gain advanced tips and strategies to elevate your macro photography and achieve stunning close-up shots.

ACTIVITY LEVEL RATING: 1 (NOTE: 1 IS EASY AND 5 IS DIFFICULT)

General workshop rating is 1. Participants should be in good health and self-sufficient enough to carry their own gear. We will not be walking far. Note that macro photography can also involve kneeling or lying on the ground but this is optional. Bring a garden pad or knee pads along.

  • Flash (like a Godox 860 or fl700wr for OM SYSTEM users)

    • We will have a flash available for you try out

    • We will have a flash diffuser available for you try on our loaner camera
