Capture stunning seabirds in flight and practice essential techniques to enhance your bird photography skills. Limited to just four participants, this workshop ensures personalized attention from Tom, who will guide you through optimal camera settings and best practices. Learn to master shutter speed, ISO, burst mode, focusing techniques, and more to elevate your standing and flying bird photographs. This workshop will teach you the many important aspects of bird photography:

• bird behavior

• exposure (changes dramatically when the bird is against the sky versus the ground)

• which autofocus mode to choose

• which drive to use

• light angle

• shutter speed to stopping action or intentionally blur action

• composition

• head angle

• predicting behavior

• exposure, etc.

*This workshop will be limited to a small number of participants

• Responsible birding (and responsible photography for all subjects) is important for this, and all photography events. We do not call, harass, or endanger birds for a photograph. The bird’s welfare is paramount while photographing. Any harassment or endangerment of the animals will result in the termination of your workshop without refund.

Transportation, Lodging, and meals are not included. Email us for a hotel recommendation if you are traveling from far away.
